  1. Hi Trish, this is Jenni from Australia. I’ve been reading your posts with great interest; my preparation has only just begun for hiking the PCT in 2015. Your tent is on my short list…….fantabulous to get it for a mere fiddy! I can’t wait for your first post from the trail! Having said that – your video is perfect, my favourite moment is also this one and I endeavour to stay in it, with reasonable success.
Oh, the places you’ll go! Yay for Trish!

I would suggest having a roll of Duct Tape in case you get a rip in your tent. I would have also suggested a small tarp or plastic sheet to put under the tent on the ground to protect the bottom of the tent but that would also mean more weight to carry. Duct Tape for sure then. 🙂

    • Hi Martin,
Thanks for dropping by. It’s all covered :). A groundsheet for sure. My groundsheet weighs 1.6 oz. and we wrap a bit of duct tape around our trekking poles for those must have moments. There are a lot of people out there who have been there and done that and are sharing their wisdom with us wannabees. I’m grateful for them all.
